The Administrative
Assistant students become proficient in using the computer for word
processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, database, desktop publishing,
and research on the Internet.
In addition to computer
skills, Administrative Assistant students learn all office skills,
which include filing, proofreading, record keeping, mail procedures,
composing business correspondence, telephone etiquette, presentations,
and employability. Students also become proficient in using calculators,
copiers, and transcription machines.
