PREP In Landscaping / Turf Management
College TECH PREP you'll learn plan nomenclature and identification,
pesticide application, turf maintenance and nutritional requirements,
landscaping estimating, garden pond installation, landscape design
(by hand and CAD), computer operations, equipment operation and
maintenance, patio installation, and more. Also, you'll have the
opportunity to take The Ohio Nursery and Landscape Certification
Test as well as gain your Pesticide License from the State of Ohio.

Post-secondary options
include:
- Earning college credit from Clark State Community College while
enrolled at Apollo Career Center.
- Ten colleges in Ohio offering a 2- or 4-year degree in landscape
and / or turf management.
To be successful in
this program, you should
- Have a strong desire to learn about and work with the outdoors
environment.
- Have good communication and decision-making skills.
- Have a definite desire to attend a 2- or 4-year college majoring
in landscape or turf management after you graduate from Apollo.
