The pace of the work we do at Apollo seems to only get faster. I’m sure that is the same in your world as well. The demand for workers is everywhere and Apollo continues to do its part, training next ready high school and adult students while meeting the needs of area employers.
Adult Education offers a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of students 18 and older. Some of Apollo’s adult programs and services are very visible, but some of these may be new to you.
- The Adult Diploma program is for adults 20 and older who have not yet earned their high school diploma or GED.
- A GED program that is free to participants.
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is for individuals who need help learning English.
- On-site Motorcycle Basic Rider course, through the state of Ohio, requires no experience and Motorcycle Ohio provides the motorcycles and helmets.
- Dental Assistant prepares students for a career in a high demand field.
- For businesses, the HVAC Apprenticeship program is a 604 classroom hours plus 8000 hours of on-the-job training. Classes start in September of each year and conclude in May.
