Facilities and Opportunities Expand for our Community

Greetings from Apollo Career Center

We have so much to celebrate including the construction of a new 28,000 square foot Public Safety building (shown below) that will house Fire/EMSPolice Academy and Truck Driving to be completed in 2025. The truck driving range will be expanded to accommodate a truck driving testing facility. Half of this project was funded by Ohio Facilities Construction Commission and capital budget grants and the rest will be funded by permanent improvement and general funds.

Apollo hosted the All Area Boards meeting to kick off Career Tech Education Month and to celebrate Apollo’s 11-member Boards of Education (BOE). Alumna Cassie Douglas and Employer Springview Manor were inducted into the Hall of Fame. This event gives us the opportunity to celebrate Apollo’s BOE members, graduates, current students and show appreciation to our great partners.

Happy Career Tech Education Month!
